The Hasseröder is a German Pils from the Harz region, home to the Hasseröder brewery since 1872.
The Hasseröder distinguishes itself from other Pils offered in the range of PerfectDraft Kegs by a stronger presence of hops. It pours a classic gold colour topped by a relatively thin head that releases herbaceous aromas of hops along with malty, straw notes.
The taste is sweet and light, a characteristic of Pils beers from West Europe along with malty notes and a general taste of straw. The hop flavours reaffirm their presence throughout the tasting and lead to a distinctive bitter finish.
